- This presentation is an example of the graphing abilities of our PSM software. A 20 ton air conditioner has occasional surges in current that are occurring relatively quickly. Using the zooming feature, the area of interest has been expanded to fill the entire screen. It can now be examined in detail and printed out. While the graph is on the screen, detailed information can be retrieved about any point of the graph by moving the cursor over the point of interest. In this example, the cursor is at the point of 16:45:00 on Sept. 23, 2002. At that point, A phase current is 23 amps, whereas the overall average shown is 16 amps. It also indicates that this data point is contained in record 72 of the data log. Please note: the actual graph is a much sharper image than this compressed representation.
