Dip (Sag) in Current

Current Dip (Sag) Waveform
  • This display is an example of the triggering and capture capabilities of the PS4000 and our PSM software. A steady current load in the A phase has suffered a sudden drop in current followed by a sudden return to its previous level. This whole event lasted just 50 msec (3cycles @ 60 Hz). This captured waveform of the event shows the instantaneous current starting 2 cycles before the event began and then continuing for 10 more cycles. The printout clearly displays when the event occurred and presents the characteristics of the event in high resolution detail. Any area of interest can be expanded to fill the entire display.
