Dip (Sag) in Current

Current Dip (Sag) - RMS Graph
  • This graph is an example of the triggering and capture capabilities of the PS4000 and our PSM software. A steady current load in the A phase has suffered a sudden drop in current followed by a sudden return to its previous level. This whole event lasted just 50 msec (3cycles @ 60 Hz). This presentation of the event shows the RMS current of each half cycle starting 2 cycles before the event began and continuing for 45 cycles after the event ended. The printout clearly states when the event occurred, how long it lasted, and what its minimum RMS 1/2 cycle reading was. The labels "Begin" and "End" are easily added using our software. While the graph is on the screen, detailed information can be retrieved about any point of the graph by moving the cursor over the point of interest. Any area of interest can be expanded to fill the entire display.
